2016 NAACP ACT-SO National Gold Medal
In mid-July 2016, Reigna competed in the Afro American, Cultural, Technological & Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) that was hosted in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, as part of the NAACP national convention. Representing the Baltimore County branch of the NAACP, Reigna was awarded a national gold medal in the Filmmaking category for her documentary film, "Poncho"!
After the awards ceremony, all the national gold medal winners and two of their guests
were invited to a special reception dinner. It was at this reception that Reigna learned about her prize of a laptop computer and a monetary scholarship award!
